INTRODUCING... the Sapph-Lit Literary Salon

This is my highest-tier membership, built for readers who love complicated women, unshakable queer intimacy, and stories that stay with you long after the final page. It's for readers with impeccable taste who want to support the kind of sapphic representation we deserve more of.

The Sapph-Lit Literary Salon is for readers who want to go deeper than recommendations and become part of the inner circle supporting my creative work and the publishing vision behind Sapph-Lit's imprint.

It combines everything from previous tiers with a curated literary experience, exclusive extras, and a deeper way to champion community-forward, sapphic-led storytelling rooted in identity, intimacy, and queer joy.

This yearโ€™s salon theme explores books that our three Sapph-Lit authors โ€“ Kim, Lydia & Annabel โ€“ see to be in conversation with their own books published by Sapph-Lit. What stories inspired them to go deeper into plot or character development? Which authors do they admire? What characters can they not stop thinking about?

We'll kick things off with Mostly Dead Things by Kristen Arnett, a book chosen by Sapph-Lit author, Kim Narby. Here are a few words from Kim as to why she chose this title:

There is no one who writes imperfect lesbian characters better than Kristen Arnett, characters who feel like people you might know, or swipe past on Tinder. Each of Kristenโ€™s books have stuck deeply in my mind and I think of them often, but Mostly Dead Things holds a special place in my heart as it was one of the first book events I attended in Brooklyn after moving here. Kristen turned Greenlight Books into โ€˜the newest lesbian clubโ€™ that night, and it was the first time I saw how queer books can lead to queer community. I nervously asked Kristen if she was writing another book as she signed my copy at Greenlight, desperate for more of her storytelling, not knowing that six years later I would end up at a writing workshop with her leading my cohort, or that she would readily agree to blurb my first novel. I hope you all love this book just as much as I do, and if you do, make sure to pick up all her other novels as well.
